Worcester Warriors will be without Sam Tuitupou for the rest of the season after he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The 26-year-old New Zealand international did the damage in the 16-16 draw with Newcastle Falcons.
Mike Ruddock, director of rugby at Worcester, admits the loss of Tuitupou is a blow. He commented, “What’s amazing is that he did it quite early on in the Newcastle game and was able to play on and that just shows what a great character and competitor he is. We’re going to miss those traits.”
