Worcester director of rugby Mike Ruddock says his side deserved their shock victory over Wasps, after they edged out the reigning champions 11-10.
A penalty 10 minutes into injury time from Loki Crichton secured the win, but Ruddock believes it was the least Worcester deserved after playing bravely against one of top sides in the league.
He commented, “We deserved our victory. To beat the defending champions in their own back yard is a first for us and a significant achievement. I asked the boys to front up today and take responsibility for the jersey, for the club and for the fans and not be afraid to play rugby.”
