Dave Ward has signed for Sale after being released by Northampton. The 23-year-old hooker made only six appearances for the Saints last season, but Sharks’ director of rugby Phillipe Saint Andre believes there is more to come from Ward. “We’re pleased to have him. This is a great opportunity for him to develop his career.”
Tuilagi joins Sale
Samoan International Anitelia Tuilagi has joined Sale Sharks on a four-year deal. The 22-year-old international has already had spells with Leicester Tigers and Leeds but Sale coach Kingsley Jones believes he can get the most out of the player.
