Double trouble for Sale

Sale will be without Sebastien Bruno and Sean Cox for the majority of the season after both suffered serious injuries in the defeat to London Irish.

Cox has a dislocated knee cap and could be out for up to five months as he needs surgery to correct the problem.

Bruno has a ruptured bicep and faces up to four months on the sidelines.

Tuilagi joins Sale

Samoan International Anitelia Tuilagi has joined Sale Sharks on a four-year deal.

The 22-year-old international has already had spells with Leicester Tigers and Leeds but Sale coach Kingsley Jones believes he can get the most out of the player.

He commented, “Andy is a raw talent and we feel he can bring power to the backs and this can really go forward.”
