Sale Sharks Rugby Shirts

Sale Sharks Rugby shirts are casual to say the least. I’m surprised by the look of the shirts I must say and why they chose this design I don’t really know.
Manufactured by Cotton Traders, who I will always associate with nice jumpers for Fathers Day, these Sale rugby shirts are a little odd to me.
In some ways, I like the simplicity of the shirts. I like the simple fold down collar, the placement of the badges and logos and the black and white colour scheme (or white and black on the away shirt).
The bolts of white down the side of the shirt are an interesting touch but don’t do enough to really make the jersey stand out from the crowd.
We’ve spoken before on Rugby Union Shirt how rugby shirts are becoming more and more like their football counterparts and this is an excellent example of that.
Even though this Sale shirt isn’t the worst top in the world its just not very…rugby.
