MacDonald becomes Leed’s skipper

Leeds Carnegie have continued their preparations for the new season by naming Mike MacDonald as their captain.

The American prop was voted player of the season by Leeds last year and is thrilled to have been awarded this latest honour.

He commented, “To take over from Stuart Hooper, who did a fantastic job for the club, is a privilege and I am looking forward to the challenge of this new role.”
