Chris Latham, the Worcester Warriors full-back is desperate to be fit for the start of the new season.
The Australia star is suffering from a torn pectoral muscle but is looking to step up his comeback over the coming weeks and hopes to make it back in time for the season opener.
He commented, “I’m doing everything I can to be fit for the Northampton game. The club will support me regardless of whether I am fit for the first game or not but I desperately want to make my Warriors debut against the Saints.”
