Eddie Jones, the director of rugby at Saracens was delighted with his side’s 44-14 victory against Newcastle Falcons.
Jonny Wilkinson continued his good form with 9 points but was unable to prevent Falcons slipping to a heavy defeat.
Jones meanwhile, believes that Saracens are playing the kind of rugby that will win games as it takes every advantage of the current rules.
He commented, “We had some control today and, with the way the game’s being played at the moment and the interpretation of the laws, you need that control. You’ve then got to be good enough to take advantage of your opportunities and we did that.”
