Newcastle Falcons have swooped to sign Leeds Rhinos Danny Williams, giving the 21-year-old his first taste of Rugby Union.
The winger has signed just a one-year deal but Falcons head coach Steve Bates expects the youngster to flourish in the side.
He commented, “He is someone we believe has a great chance of making an impact in union and we have been on the lookout for a player of his type for some time now.”
