Cipriani dropped from England side

Danny Cipriani has been dropped from the England side for the match against New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday.

The Wasps fly-half has come under fire after poor individual performances against Australia and South Africa and has now paid the price.

Leicester’s Toby Flood comes into the starting line up at fly-half with Cipriani having to make do with a place on the bench. There are two other changes to the England side with Tom Rees and Tom Palmer making way for Michael Lipman and Nick Kennedy.

The full squad reads:

England: Delon Armitage; Paul Sackey, Jamie Noon, Riki Flutey, Ugo Monye, Toby Flood, Danny Care; Tim Payne, Lee Mears, Phil Vickery, Steve Borthwick (capt), Nick Kennedy, James Haskell, Michael Lipman, Nick Easter.
Replacements: Dylan Hartley, Matt Stevens, Tom Croft, Tom Rees, Harry Ellis, Danny Cipriani, Dan Hipkiss.
