The Help for Heroes match at Twickenham on Saturday raised a massive £1.1 million for injured servicemen and women.
The HFH team was led by Lawrence Dallaglio and triumphed 29-10 against an international XI, captained by Scott Gibbs.
The former England captain Dallaglio was delighted with the turn out for the match and commented, “We have met a lot of the guys who been involved in war and it is pretty emotional in the dressing room at the moment. Today the public showed what this cause means to them. It was a great day.”
