London Irish coach Toby Booth could not hide his delight after watching his table-topping side thrash second placed Gloucester 42-12.
Tries from Delon Armitage, Paul Hodgson, Sailosi Tagicakibau and Declan Danaher helped Irish to a comprehensive victory and a bonus point.
After the match Booth commented, “You have to be very good to get a four-try bonus point against quality opposition and the Premiership is stacked with quality opposition, none more so than Gloucester. We won’t know if we can stay at the top of the table until the end of the season. Where we have probably wavered is trying to fight on too many fronts at one time.”
