The 2015 World Cup must be awarded to a developing rugby nation according to Sale Sharks chairman Quentin Smith.
South Africa, Wales and England have all shown an interest in hosting the event but Smith believes that for the good of the game, it must go elsewhere.
He commented, “The first question for any decision made by the International Rugby Board (IRB) must be ‘How does this push forward globalisation?’”
